This package will allow you to experience an everlasting safari through visiting Tarangire National Park which is famous for it’s herds of elephants and baobab trees. The next destination is Ngorongoro Crater which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Last but not least the endless plains of Serengeti National Park, which is well known for it’s wildebeest migration. There’s a very hight chance to spot the big 5 on this safari. The accommodations are set in luxury lodges and tented safari camps throughout the 8 days.

Tarangire NP

Tarangire National Park is a national park in Tanzania's Manyara Region. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses the park. The Tarangire River is the primary source of fresh water for wild animals in the Tarangire Ecosystem during the annual dry season.

Ngorongoro NP

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area covers 8,292 square kilometers. Approximately 25,000 large animals, mostly ungulates, live in the crater. Now classed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Ngorongoro Crater was formed when a giant volcano exploded and collapsed around 3 million years ago.

Serengeti NP

You have now entered one of the worlds most popular wild life spotting area! Here you have a huge amount of grass eating mamals along with great chances of spotting rare predators as chetahs, leopards etc. You are guaranteed to see Zebras, Elephants, Giraffes, Wilderbeasts, Lions etc.

Food works like gravity in Tanzania it will quickly pull you into the country’s orbit of culture and community. If there is one failsafe strategy to better understand the essence of other people and other places, it’s through sharing a meal together. Their food and drink is largely a fusion of several major culinary heavyweights.

 

Itinerary for this 8 day tour

 

Day 1: Arrive to Arusha, Tanzania.

Your BT&S Guide will meet you up at the airport and take you to your hotel.  Here you have dinner and get a briefing for coming adventure.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

Early drive to Tarangire National Park for a picnic lunch before your first game drive through the rivers and planes. After a great day in the wild relax see the sun set at your lodge enjoying a wonderful dinner with a cold beverage.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park

To be able to see the animals at their most active time. You will start the day with a morning game drive.  After your second wild experience make your way to a local village for an interaction with the locals. Learn their way of living. After lunch make your way to your next lodge for some relaxation and recap.

Day 4: Rift Valley Market/ Ngorongoro Crater Lodge

Take the bikes after breakfast to explore the country side and have a freshly cooked organic lunch on the rim of the Rift Valley. After lunch make your way to the Ngorongoro Crater lodge for a beautiful view building the anticipation for the next day.

  

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

Early mornings is our thing, you will be entering Ngorongoro crater at sunrise to see the animals at their most active time. Have a picnic lunch near the hippo pond. Exit the crater and go into a maasai boma for some cultural dancing and get to learn about the maasai culture. After the days impression it’s time to for a great dinner before you get a good night’s sleep in the Sanctuary Ngorongoro crater Camp.

 

Day 6: Serengeti National Park

This day is when you get to the endless planes of Serengeti. You will have a picnic lunch and a small leg-stretch/hike as you enter the park. Slowly make your way to an amazing Serengeti Migration Camp taking in the scenery, don’t forget to take time to relax.

 

Day 7: Serengeti National Park

Enjoy a early morning game drive. Make your way back to camp for a nice fresh lunch. Relax during the heat of the day until the temperature starts to drop then start your late afternoon game drive. After sunset make your way back to camp for an extra special dinner.

Day 8: Serengeti to Arusha

Breakfast at the tented camp and make your way to the airport to fly back to Arusha. Pick up will be arranged and transportation to a day lodge for down time before your flight home.
