The next destination is Ngorongoro Crater which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Last but not least the endless plains of Serengeti National Park, which is well known for it’s wildebeest migration.

Serengeti NP

You have now entered one of the worlds most popular wild life spotting area! Here you have a huge amount of grass eating mamals along with great chances of spotting rare predators as chetahs, leopards etc. You are guaranteed to see Zebras, Elephants, Giraffes, Wilderbeasts, Lions etc.

Ngorogoro NP

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area covers 8,292 square kilometers. Approximately 25,000 large animals, mostly ungulates, live in the crater. Now classed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Ngorongoro Crater was formed when a giant volcano exploded and collapsed around 3 million years ago.

Kilimanjaro Golf Course

The Kilimanjaro Golf Club is the main feature of the estate, consisting of the first 18-hole championship golf course in Tanzania. Designed by former Irish national coach and Kenya Open champion; David Jones, the club is geared to host international and local golf events, tournaments and club nights.

The Maasai are a nomadic tribe living mainly in Kenya and Tanzania (East Africa). The Maasai are the most famous people of East Africa and are known for their traditional way of life, language, beautiful jewelry, and clothing. Itinerary for this 14 day tour

 

Day 1: Arrival at Arusha, Tanzania.

Your BT&S Guide will meet you up at the airport and take you to Kilimanjaro Golf and Wildlife Estate (Usa River) for an overnight. Here you have dinner and get a briefing for the coming adventure.​

​Day 2 to 4: Kilimanjaro Golf and Wildlife Estate.

Awaking, on this former sisal plantation, is a wonderful feeling. An oasis of peace. You can take a walk on the Estate and enjoy the facilities the Estate offers, such as a restaurant, bar, swimming pool, tennis court, and fitness room. The avid golfers are probably anxious to use the 18-holes Championship Golf Course.

Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park

After spending some days golfing its now time for the bush
After breakfast at the lodge, drive to Lake Manyara passing through the heart of the Rift Valley and Maasai land. Game drive in Lake Manyara passing through hippo ponds and valleys filled with zebras and water buffalo. Have a picnic lunch viewing the lake. Enjoy another game drive through the lush forests. At sunset make your way to a gorgeous lodge for a relaxing evening.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Center

Enter the Ngorongoro Crater early in the morning to view the animals when they are the most active. Have a picnic lunch by the hippo pond viewing the many active hippos in
a large body of water. After your afternoon game drive exit the crater and make your way to a beautiful lodge located on the edge of the crater. Here you will enjoy a wonderful sunset and a nice dinner.

  

Day 7: Serengeti National Park

Breakfast at the lodge, then make your way to the center of Serengeti. Enjoy a little trek after your lunch to view the endless planes of the Serengeti. Slowly make your way to Serengeti Migration Camp for a lovely evening filled with cultural dancing and a nice dinner with your crew.

 

Day 8: Serengeti National Park

Early morning game drive at sunrise to view any last-minute excitement in the beautiful Serengeti. Have lunch at camp and then make your way to Karatu for overnight and well-deserved relaxation.

 

Day 9: Maasai boma, Mto wa Mbu, Tarangire

Today you will get culture and local life in your Golf Safari. After breakfast, you will start a drive towards Tarangire. On your way, you have the chance to visit Mto wa Mbu. In this wonderful village, you meet the local people. The village represents more than 25 different tribes (of a total 127 tribes in Tanzania). Here you also get so visit a Maasai village. A visit to their village gives you the opportunity to experience their culture, traditions, and lifestyle. The Maasai welcome you by means of a ritual. After this unique visit, you set the drive to Tarangire for overnight.

Day 10: Tarangire

Welcome to Tarangire National Park, where you get the chance to see the large herds of elephants near the Tarangire River, while migratory wildebeest, buffaloes, zebras, and impalas crowd the shrinking lagoons. During your game drive in the park, you will most of the time follow or pass the Tarangire river. This river provides permanent water during the whole year. The vegetation in the park is so diverse, from acacia and palm trees to swamps and savannahs.

Day 11: Tarangire to Arusha

This morning you can relish the facilities of the lodge for the last time, before you head back to Arusha to enjoy the last part of your Golf Safari. In the afternoon you can visit this lively city. Arusha offers lots of options, like the Cultural Heritage (museum), a market or just a relaxing walk through town. You can also choose to head back to your accommodation at Kilimanjaro Golf and Wildlife Estate.

Day 12 and 13: Kilimanjaro Golf and Wildlife Estate

You can enjoy the golf course and other facilities on the estate. It is also possible to walk around Lake Duluti or visit the city Moshi or the hot spring Maji Moto. This hot spring, situated in the bush, is breathtaking. All in all, there are more than enough things to do these days.

Day 14: Departure

Here is where your  Golf Safari comes to an end. Depending on your (further) travel plans you will be taken to the airport or the destination of your wish.
