Itinerary for this 12 day tour

Day 1: Arrival at Arusha, Tanzania.

Your BT&S Guide will meet you up at the airport and take you to Kilimanjaro Golf and Wildlife Estate (Usa River) for an overnight. Here you have dinner and get a briefing for the coming adventure.

Day 2 to 3: Kilimanjaro Golf and Wildlife Estate.

Awaking, on this former sisal plantation, is a wonderful feeling. An oasis of peace. You can take a walk on the Estate and enjoy the facilities the Estate offers, such as a restaurant, bar, swimming pool, tennis court, and fitness room. The avid golfers are probably anxious to use the 18-holes Championship Golf Course.

Day 4: Central Serengeti

After an early breakfast, you will be driven to the very nearby Kili Golf airstrip for your flight to the Seronera airstrip in Serengeti National Park.  It is an about 2 - 2.5-hour flight.

Important: you are allowed to bring 15 kg of luggage packed in soft bags for all flights in this itinerary. A guide from BT&S will meet you at the airstrip and game drive you to the camp, stopping at any wildlife sightings along the way.

Settle into your tent before lunch.  After lunch, you will go on a game drive exploring the Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is impressive in terms of both the diversity and density of wildlife found there, so there is plenty to discover. Return to camp in the early evening for drinks around the campfire followed by African dinner.

Day 5: Central Serengeti

Safari activities will take place in the early morning and late afternoon when the wildlife is most active. You will explore with expert guides on game drives, looking for the big cats that have made the Serengeti famous as well as hippos wallowing in muddy pools and giraffe browsing the fresh shoots of an acacia tree.

In between safari game drives, you will return to camp for a delicious lunch and have time for a rest or Netflix and chill.

Evenings are spent sharing stories of your day’s experiences with other guests around the dinner table.

Day 6: Northern Serengeti

After breakfast, you will be driven to the airstrip for your flight to Lobo in Northern Serengeti.

The next 2 nights you will stay at Serengeti Migration Camp.

Your safari tent is luxurious, and also here you will stay on an all-inclusive basis.

With the ‘Big Five’ and the annual migration being the constant highlights of any visit to the Serengeti, by staying at the combination of both Serengeti camps it will now be possible to cover over 90% of the Serengeti from both of these two camps, thus maximizing the game-viewing opportunities, and increasing game-viewing time.

Enjoy full-day game drives, bush luncheons, and dinners as well as evenings under the stars at the camp.

Day 7: Northern Serengeti

After breakfast you will spend a full day exploring the vast Serengeti.  Enjoy lunch in the bush, after which the afternoon will be spent game viewing.

You will return to your camp in time for sundowners and dinner.

The views are spectacular, the sunsets and cocktails on the sunset deck are an experience not to be missed.

Day 8 - 11: Zanzibar

Today you will fly comfortably from the Serengeti to Zanzibar, a journey of approximately 3,5 hours. The plane may stop on the way a few times to drop off/pick up passengers.

On arrival in Zanzibar, you will be driven by vehicle to Sea Cliff Resort and Spa located in the Northern-West coast of Zanzibar, just 25 minutes from the airport.

You will stay in a Deluxe Ocean View room on an all-inclusive basis. All-inclusive includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, house wine, house spirits, a selection of alcoholic and non- alcoholic cocktails, local beers, juices, water & tea/coffee.

Sea Cliff Resort and Spa offers tranquility, peace and beauty, with lush tropical scented gardens, sparkling infinity pools, a variety of cuisine and attentive, helpful staff. The lounges, restaurant, bars and recreation area offer panoramic views of the Indian Ocean. Enjoy breakfast overlooking the ocean, dinner under the stars and sundowners on the jetty or on your own private balcony.

With a variety of activities and excursions your days are guaranteed to be filled with sun, sea and an appreciation for the rich history of Zanzibar.

Seacliff has the only golf course on the island of Zanzibar. Golfers will enjoy our 9-hole Matkovitch course with its club house, under-cover driving range and practice greens, while enjoying the natural features of the island. To top it all, two of the last holes are played along the Indian Ocean. The course has been designed with variation in distance and direction on the front and back 9 to create an experience of playing full 18 holes. The course has a par 71, which includes short and long par 4’s and a couple of drivable options. We included 2 green fees during your stay.
